Last night the campaign funded successfully and I couldn't be happier. It is always a little scary to do something like Kickstarter, especially with something as big as the launch of a brand new book, but your support has shown me that this can work and that I should keep trying new things.
Here's whats going to happen over the next couple of weeks:
First, Kickstarter is going to charge your credit card. They may have already done this. If, for some reason, the payment didn't go through, they'll get in touch so you can fix whatever the issue is. This process can take about two weeks. If, at the end of that time, your payment still hasn't gone through, your pledge will be canceled and you won't get your rewards. So please check to make sure your payment went through! I don't want you to miss out.
Once Kickstarter has done all the payment processing, I'll send out something called a survey. This is an email where I'll get information about what books to send you, your address, and any other info I need. Expect to see that in two to two and a half weeks.
When surveys have been sent and answered, then I can start fulfilling orders. Most of the digital stuff will get delivered immediately. However, the narrator will need to record the audiobook of Hungry for the Wolf, so that might not be available until later in September.
Physical items will be fulfilled once I receive the stock so I can send it out. I'll need to order the special edition paperbacks, notebooks, and anything else that I don't already have. I'm hoping that I don't run into any shipping issues, but I'll keep you updated if anything goes on there.
